I'd like to submit a... relative's, let's leave it at that, name. It is RAYSSA LARAMY. Rayssa is supposed to be pronounced Raïssa, like in French and Russian, so it is a creative spelling. And Laramy was created because the mom's favorite song is Lara's Theme, so she figured she'd randomly add a "my" to the end or something. She only goes as far as the Lara's Theme in the explanation. I think maybe it is to avoid confusion with someone else's Lara, so that is Laramy - or Larahers? Even I'm confused now!

Oh dear. My cousin's baby name is Koden Walker - but Walker is his surname, so it's just Koden. It's a bit odd, but not quite as bad, I guess... All the male kids in this country seem to be some variant on Jaiden these days. It's awful.

I have a nephew named Jaheem. It's so odd. I laughed when I first heard the name, which was when I first saw him in the hospital. His mom wasn't too happy with me after that. I know, it was probably rude but I couldn't help it.
My mother-in-law says, "He looks like a Jaheem?" What the heck is a Jaheem??? It sounds like a form of laudary detergent.
Now, I'm pregnet and naming my son Isaac. She says that Isaac is an odd name. Haha!
Luckly, he has two middle named to fall back on when he's older. Poor kid.
