Scratch rule number 4- if I listened to anyone my kid would be named Joe or Mike! I didn't want to give him some insanely normal name, those are no fun!

If you saw Latrina in Dayton, Ohio....she might have been an old friend of my mother's! My mother also had a good friend named Sistine, like the chapel.
And hey, Annie! Thanks for dropping by!

I'd like to propose rule # 6: Before deciding on a name, imagine that name being shouted across an elementary school playground. Imagine a teacher calling the roll on the first day of school, or the name being read at high school/university graduation. Does it still sound like such a good idea?
